Color Notes from a coastal farm
Driving along Route 15 past the village of Blue Hill and off the peninsula means I am heading south- back home from a trip to Deer Isle in Maine. As I head up a hill in the fall, I am hit with this image of a large blueberry field in full autumn dress. It's a wonderful red up against some scruffy sand and weedy greenery. The glacial boulders seem to have just been dropped onto the landscape from outer space. You gotta love Maine landscapes!
